Sth interesting to share. Today almost the whole day im doing practical, all the way from 1pm to 6pm. But what's more interesting is the 1-3pm practical, LAST practical. Cos today learning how to restraint mouse, label mouse, gavaging and injection. Omg, i tell u.. im struggling thru out the whole practical.

Maybe u can say im soft hearted or wad.. but somehow i just cant restraint it firmly and it kept struggling too. lol.. therefore, due to my poor restraint technique, i have difficulties proceeding on. cos labelling the mouse requires me to cut shapes in their ears. imagine u cut their ears.. Ouch.. but eventually, Dr Jomer help me cut and wad happen? Blood starts to flow out. Lucky not so much and it did stop. Haiz.. poor thing.

So wad's gavaging? It's using a tube and try to push it down the troat of the mouse, all the way down to its stomach.. haha.. this is bad la.. my mouse keep pushing the tube out.. and at times, it dun even wan to open its mouth. but eventually, i guess i still manage to do it.

Lastly is the injection part. Guess wad? I struggle for dunno how long then i decided to give it a try. I guess i was just not confident enuff, worrying that it might just poke my hand.. and it did. =X when Dr Jomer help me to inject, it poke my thumb and i let go abit of the mouse, then kenna scolded by him. =( but anyway, i try n try, finally able to poke it and inject but duno correct or not.

Anyway, this is eventually the first time i did such things to a mouse. i guess i just need to be more firm, confident and quick in wadeva im doing to that mouse, if not, it'd suffer even more.. haiz.. nevertheless, i'll be going to practise it again tmr with my classmates. hope it gets better this time. =)
